Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi airport you are met and transferred to your pre booked Hotel.
Afternoon visit to the Lotus Temple
Evening Welcome dinner at local Restaurant.

Day 02 Delhi
Full day city tour of New and Old Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Rastrapati Bhawan and the Parliament Street, Raj Ghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and the Chandni Chowk.

Day 03 Delhi-Jaipur (by surface)
After breakfast leave by surface for Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in at your pre booked hotel.

Day 04 Jaipur
Today morning we visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills, which is a super example of Rajput (medieval Hindu) style Architecture.
Afternoon - tour of City Palace and Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. The Palace of Winds – a five-storied structure of pink sandstone has semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was originally built to enable the ladies of the Royal household to watch everyday life.

Day 05 Jaipur – Agra (by Surface) Via Bharatpur and Fathehpursikri
After breakfast leave by surface for Agra enroute visit to Bharatpur and Fatehpursikri. Upon arrival in Agra check in at your pre booked hotel.
Afternoon city tour of Agra visiting Agra Fort and
Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah and visit to Local Market.

Day 06 Agra – Delhi (by Surface) Via Sikandra
Very early morning visit the Famous Taj Mahal at Sunrise. This is a breathtaking view- the mausoleum built by a sorrowing Shah Jehan in memory of his young wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Building’s stupendous scale, flawless symmetry, translucent white marble and shimmering reflection in the water channel are truly breathtaking.
(Every Friday Taj Mahal is Closed)
After viewing Taj Mahal we return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for the city tour of Agra visiting the Agra Fort and Itmad- Ud-Daulah and visit to the local Market.

Day 07 Delhi – Paro (by Flight) Paro – Thimpu (By Surface)
Today you are transferred to Delhi airport to board flight for Paro. Upon arrival in Paro airport you are met and transferred to Thimpu check in at your pre booked hotel.

Day 08 Thimpu
Morning tour of Thimphu includes
the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of its 1627.
It now houses the Dzongkha Language and Religion
University. Protection of their unique and precious
heritage in this last remaining stronghold of Himalayan.
Buddhism is now a priority of the government. Also
visit the great Tashichho-Dzong – or Fortress of the Glorious Religion – the Center of Government and religion. Stroll to Changgankha Monastery, and visit the handicrafts emporium to shop where a wealth of artistic skills is displayed.

Day 09 Thimpu – Punakha (by Surface)
After breakfast leave by surface for Punakha . Upon arrival in Punakha check in at your pre booked hotel.

Day 10 Punakha
Morning visit Punakha Dzong, a massive structure built at the junction of two rivers. Punakha was Bhutan’s capital until 1955, and Punakha Dzong still serves as the winter residence of the central monk body. Bhutan’s first King, Ugyen Wangchuck, was crowned here in 1907. The fortress has withstood several damages from fire, earthquake and flood over the centuries. The latest flood, in October, 1994, caused great damages to the fortress but miraculously spared its most holy statue. Also visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, the newly built stupa.

Day 11 Punakha – Paro (by Surface)
Morning leave by surface for Paro. Upon arrival in Paro check in at your pre booked hotel.

Day 12 Paro
Today's full day of sightseeing in Paro valley includes, visit to Ta Dzong, which in the past served as watchtower for Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong) and now houses the National Museum, and Paro Dzong (rinpung Dzong), built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
After lunch, we drive up the valley Drukgyel Dzong, built in 1647 by the Shabdrung to commemorate the Bhutanese victory over the Tibetans in war of 1644. En route, we also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, built in the 7th century by the Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo.

Day 13 Paro – Calcutta (by Flight)
Today you are transferred to Paro Airport to board flight for Calcutta. Upon arrival in Calcutta airport you are met and transferred to your pre booked hotel.
After breakfast we start our city tour of Calcutta - once the capital of the British Empire, still remains the cultural capital of India with a strong tradition in literature and fine arts. It is also the gateway to the beautiful North Eastern state of India, where the visitor can only gaze in wonder at their pristine beauty. The city tour includes visit to the Fort William, Victoria memorial, the Indian museum, St Paul’s cathedral, Birla Planetarium and the Botanical gardens.

Day 14 Leave Calcutta (check out at 12 noon)
Departure transfer from hotel to airport to board flight for onward journey. |
